What is Lealguard?
Throughout history, many ancient cultures had elite guards tasked with protecting their rulers. These warriors were often highly trained, fiercely loyal, and held in great honor. "King’s Guard" from the Byzantine Empire, Roman Praetorians, The Samurai to the Ottoman Empire: these guards symbolized loyalty, discipline and unwavering service. Qualities deeply embedded in the idea of guarding something valuable, whether it’s a king, an empire, or…an idea.
My last name, Leal, translates to loyal or faithful—and in some ancient cultures, crown. —but what I protect is not a throne or a ruler.
I stand in devotion to a greater idea: Nature, Art, and the Human Condition.
They are the forces that transcend human limitations, shaping us into more than we are. They exist in a delicate, unseen harmony, connected in ways we often overlook. Nature is the foundation of all creation, art is its echo, and humans are the conduits for which they pass—breathing life, pushing us beyond the boundaries of what we know.
And in a world that often forgets value, I believe this is something worth guarding.
